We are developing novel topology optimization approaches for vibration control based on the error in consititutive equations approach and adaptive eigenfunction expansions.

We designed this bar to minimize its frequency response at 3000 HZ. Notice how the motion of the sand particles decreases significantly around 2900-3000 HZ.
